The Buzz Rickson label, a division of Toyo Enterprise in Japan, is famous around the world for its expertly-crafted authentic military clothing. The pattern construction of this plain hoodie is modeled after classic-style loop-wheeling hooded sweatshirts (old military training hoodie), but this pullover hoodie is outfitted with Buzz Rickson's brand own detailing and design in a contemporary approach with a modernize fit. With the inspiration from classic clothing (sportswear style with military influences), this Buzz Rickson hoodie has been re-designed for a more casual look and fashion purpose. This Buzz Rickson's pullover hoodie features 100% cotton mediumweight loop-wheeled sweatshirt fabric with a soft brushed interior backing, tubular loopwheeling construction with no side seams, pull on closure, set-in-sleeve, 2-needle seam sewn body, kangaroo pocket, classic style longer ribbed cuff and waistband. Also this product is made for Japanese market and made for Japanese clothing sizes. And this Buzz Rickson's hoodie is originally intended to wear as a Modern Fit (Not too tight or Not loose) with short in the body length to allow for wearing layers underneath flight jacket style. Fabric : 100% cotton medium weight sweatshirt fabric with a soft brushed interior backing. It has a slightly slubby and rugged texture on the face of the fabric. It combines durability and the natural softness for comfort. This sweatshirt is washed once for a fashionable vintage feel and look. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage.

Body : Tubular construction (No side seam construction). Made on vintage looms which knit the fabric in a seamless continuous tube known as loop-wheeling. The fabric is produced with minimal tension during knitting process and lack of seams means the garment will keep its shape through wear and washing. It combines durability and the natural softness for comfort. Vintage looms are special machines that are able to knit a perfect tube, but they can only knit one set diameter (size) per loom, so a loom for each size is required. This is why one hardly ever sees perfect tube construction in modern day garments.

Closure : Pull on closure. Pull-over.

Storage : This hoodie has a kangaroo pocket (handwarmer pocket), with diagonal openings for easy insertion of hands. The pocket sits on the lower front section of the hoodie. The pocket is open on either side. *Note this pocket has wide openings on either side, through which belongings may fall out of.

Hood : A hood is made from two layers of fabric for durability. The hood has eyelets(eyelet holes), but drawstring is not included, allowing for maximum movement. This isn't an error - this is how a hoodie should be.
